Statement
ST Bycroft
I am basically a self taught artist, although I have had some traditional training in painting and drawing. Most of my work is visual art done as painting or fused glass. However, experimentation with different types of media and materials, both 2D and 3D, is something I pursue and enjoy. The process of bringing an idea to life is a never ending thrill and surprise for me.
Much of my work is abstract, surreal or at least from a different viewpoint. I try to put forth something with the purpose to cause some curiosity, smiles, thought of the world around us or at least to bring to mind the question: 'What is that?'
